On the ground floor is our impressive guest lounge / dining room, with a wonderful beamed ceiling and stone fireplace (pictured below). This leads out onto the terrace and our large landscaped garden with fruit trees, flower beds and the local wildlife (we enjoy a large variety of wild birds in the garden - you can often hear the local peacocks, and perhaps you’ll see the resident red squirrels enjoying our copse of hazelnut trees, under which reside our own flock of chickens). In the garden we have seating areas and a fantastic petanque pitch for you to enjoy.
Upstairs are the 4 comfortable guest bedrooms (2 twin rooms with en-suite & shower, 1 twin room with en-suite & bath/shower and 1 double with en-suite plus shower), all newly refurbished, but retaining their character with original beams, unique windows, comfortable beds and tea/coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi internet access is also available. |

Breakfast is a typically French affair with fresh croissants, yoghurts, freshly baked bread from the village baker and a selection of jams. In the evenings, we are happy to recommend and reserve you a table at any of the superb local restaurants. However, if you prefer not to eat out every night; we offer you the option to dine here at La Pigeonnerie—joining us in our beautiful dining room, or outside on the terrace.
We know that playing golf makes you hungry, so we make sure you have a hearty meal which we believe offers a great combination of the best of French and English cooking along with produce from the garden or the surrounding region (whenever possible!). For 2010, our 4-course dinner costs 20 Euros per person with a selection of wines from just €5.
DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT …
See for yourself why so many people want to come back again and again! We have put together a sample of some of the many delightful comments previous guests have left in our visitor book. |

We look forward to welcoming your to our home.
‘La Pigeonnerie’ has a long history. Once the stables to the Manor House, it was converted into a dwelling in the mid 19th Century & has some unique features, such as the beautifully arched windows in the guest bedrooms. |
