We look forward to welcoming you to our historic home – The ‘Manoir de la Pigeonnerie’. Originally a pigeon loft (hence the name!), it has been lovingly converted into our beautiful French home and B&B establishment.
It has some unique features, such as beautiful gothic arched windows & the impressive beamed dining room with stone fireplace, leading onto the terrace.
The 4 comfortable guest bedrooms have all been recently refurbished, but retain their charming character with original beams and, unique windows. Each room is en-suite with comfortable beds, and tea/coffee making facilities, Baylis and Harding toiletries and hairdryers.
Outside, we have numerous seating areas and a fantastic petanque (boules) pitch for you to enjoy; or take a stroll through our large landscaped garden where you’ll find fruit trees, flower beds and our kitchen garden. You will also see the local wildlife –there is a large variety of wild birds here as well as red squirrels.
Breakfast is a typically French affair with cereal, fresh fruit, freshly baked bread and croissants from our village bakery, yogurts, fruit, a selection of tasty homemade jams served with fruit juice and tea or coffee.
We are happy to recommend and reserve a dinner table for you at any of the superb local restaurants. However, if you prefer not to eat out every night we offer you the option to dine here at La Pigeonnerie… join us for dinner in our beautiful dining room, or outside on the terrace.
We also know that staying in touch is very important and we have free wi-fi throughout the house.
